In this 9 week course, Create your own story through the BEAM Experience! Using the process of creative problem solving, each week campers will learn to brainstorm ideas, outline, build, animate, and publish their own distinctive stop motion movie. Working in teams of 2-3, students will create a story based on ideas from their own imaginations and bring them to life one frame at a time. Adding your own unique cinematic score and dialogue truly brings the movie to life! Building and set materials include LEGO® bricks, recycled materials, cardboard, straws and architecture materials to fuel their imagination. CJ and Nick Naudet 4 year Varsity Basketball Lettermen from Bishop OHara High School and Timothy Waris Jr. currently playing on the varsity basketball team from Rockhurst High School will be running the basketball camp and showing the young campers what they have learned over the years playing basketball at Bishop OHara and Rockhurst High School.
