Positive Life Change
Although they mentioned "life changing" on their mission statement I though that was just advertising. It turns out this truly was a life changing summer for our daughter. She was also a sweet girl a little on the shy side. But this summer she seemed to blossom. She came home confident and eager to participate in activities at our church. Camp CCYT is BACK! Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is pleased to announce GODSPELL as its 2016 summer camp offering! Explore all aspects of the theatre with other aspiring actors who love the stage as much as you do! Camp CCYT is the arts camp that is more than a traditional summer camp. Designed for students ages 10-18, the program is a comprehensive, one-week intensive, in which students get a chance to hone their skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. Camp CCYT meets July 18-23, 2015, 9am – 3 pm in the McBride Auditorium on BGSU Firelands College Campus. One performance of Godspell is scheduled for Saturday, July 23 at 10 am. Each student will not only STAR onstage in the production, but also will also contribute to the direction, choreography, set, lighting and costume design of the production. Students will be assigned a mentor from the Caryl Crane Youth Theatre 2016 Staff and will work as assistants on a specific “behind-the-scenes” area of their interest. Camp CCYT is designed to instill in aspiring thespians a deeper understanding about producing and participating in a first-class musical with working professionals. If your child is Minecraft obssessed and dreams of making their own swords, items, blocks and mobs, and you as a parent want your child to learn the art of programming, then this is the camp for them. Kids will learn programming logic through activities both on and off the computer. Students will conceptualize, design and code their own custom Mod using Java, one of the most widely used programming languages today! Dont worry, they wont spend their whole time on the computer (although theyd like to!). We have lots of other fun minecrafty activities to keep their day active and balanced. (858)964-0645

We will be exploring the MJ/Jackson 5 hits; Blame it on the Boogie, Leave Me Alone, Wanna Be Starting Something, Bad, Beat It, and Man in the Mirror. 206-473-9580
