Our aim is for the campers to experience Gods love in Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to hear His call upon their lives. Various elements go into Christian Camping including the community that comes together in the Camp, the natural setting, games and recreation, Bible study, worship, prayer, and fellowship. Extending the Fun of the Club
Our kids have been going to the local Boys and Girls club for the past year but this was the first time they ventured out for summer camp. I'm so glad they did. They got to try out so many new things. One of the big hits was the work in the garden. Now they want to turn out backyard into a vegetable patch. Tuesday, 4:15 - 5:15 pm Refund policy: If you decide to cancel your childs registration, we can offer you a full refund if you contact us to cancel before the date of the second class. If you cancel after that date there will be a $15 fee. Low enrollment: "Take My Word For It!" occasionally has to cancel a class due to low enrollment. (The minimum number of students varies from school to school). Typically we will meet on the first date while continuing to promote the class. Hop on the bus for a week of exciting activities and adventures. Activities include bowling, Top Golf, whirleyball, broomball, go-carts and rock climbing. A super special day at Six Flags will be a highlight of the week (a Six Flags reading pass or online admission ticket is required). Dress comfortably and wear tennis shoes. LUNCH: Students must bring their own bag lunches and drinks each day. No class July 4. This course is for students wishing to enrich their math skills before entering 9th grade. Students focus on the standard topics of first-year algebra, emphasizing the fundamental ideas of the subject. Topics may include solving and graphing linear equations and functions, quadratic equations and functions, solving and graphing inequalities, systems of equations, factoring expressions, absolute value and exponential and radical expressions and equations. This sports camp will feature a variety of sports and games to play throughout the week. Campers will have instruction with coaches through structured games and activities. In this class you are introduced to all the fundamental skills of improvising, while improving your ability to listen and explore the power of building off of other peoples ideas. Level 1 is a survey of the entire program, exposing you to the elements of scene work and the various skills involved in creating well-acted, comedic improvisation. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate that their listening has improved over the course of the term and that they are willing to build off of their partners ideas, in addition to having gained some proficiency with the technical aspects of actually doing so on stage.
