Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living. It is cutting edge technology invented by a group of technologists committed to extending the frontiers of technology by sharing their products blueprint. Enabled by a computer chip the size of a penny, campers can connect video, touch screen, GPS, motion sensor, or camera to the chip. Once connected, campers can send texts, make calls, or place on their personal property or pet to track their whereabouts. Campers can also program custom logic. World Café is a great opportunity for our language students to increase their exposure to their target language in a fun Friday afternoon session. Children who arent studying languages at Janney but have some knowl- edge of Spanish, French, or Chinese are also welcome to participate. This session will emphasize cooking. The lessons have been chosen to make language learning fun. Our language teachers will be running the classes. This is a great way to wind down the week and practice language skills! 202-724-8950

The all skills camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems. Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses. The remaining amount will be credited back to ones account if paid by credit card. If paid by check, the University will cut a check back to the original payee.
