We realize this is a busy time of year. Let us take your kids for an afternoon so you can do your shopping, wrapping or anything that needs to get done without little eyes snooping or peeking in on you. This is what we have planned: ~ Kids Ecstatic Facilitated Dance Party ~ Yoga Pose Practice ~ Crafts ~ Yoga GAMES! :D Children must bring: ~ Sacked lunch ~ Empty, clear plastic bottle or mason jar (for the craft) - or send them a drink for lunch in a plastic bottle and we'll just use that. ;) Ages: 5-12 Cost: ~ $99 for the day ~ Additional siblings = $79 ~ We have an additional day camp scheduled for 12/29th. Advanced Comedy Camp 1 - Second City Training Center Chicago
The Second City Advanced Comedy Camp is a fully comprehensive program that dives deep into the skills required to present a Second City-style revue. Curriculum includes training in advanced scenework and long form improvisation as well as additional lessons in clowning, stand-up, and music improvisation. Students will also receive a special track jacket as a souvenir of their summer with Second City. Students will present their stand-up material on the second Friday of the program and a one-act sketch revue on the final day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Students must submit the Advanced Comedy Camp application, a resume, headshot/photo, and a short essay to be considered for this program to Students will need to have completed at least two 14-week terms of improv training at Second City or at least two sessions in our summer camp program. For the essay, answer the following question: "Aside from your family and friends, who or what makes you laugh and why?"All materials should be submitted together.
