This Girl Scout Camp is nestled in nature’s paradise between meadows, woodlands and a beach area. My 11 year old daughter loves to participate in archery, swimming, kayaking, crafts, boating and hiking. She has developed a love for nature along with improved social skills. Doodle Draw Cartooning - S1 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
From Manga to classic Superheroes, campers will explore different drawing, cartooning and animation styles in this extraordinary mixed media class. Some of our projects include creating character profiles and story lines to use in your own comic book and figure, and making doodles into colorful art posters. We will even design our own personal crest and make t-shirt transfers. Students work will be exhibited in our end of summer Art Show. 734-416-4278

Campers are transformed into authentic video game designers as they learn and apply animation techniques and special tricks to create their own amazing versions of maze-based and platform computer games. Club Description: The Vocal Performance Club is for students who really love to sing and who would like to develop their skills further. The class includes group singing (choir) but also emphasizes vocal technique with individual attention. Students, who feel ready for a challenge beyond group singing, will be encouraged and supported in their preparation for solo presentations. Repertoire will be chosen according to the abilities of the students, including folk songs, songs from movies and musicals, jazz favorites, and art songs. Older students are, especially, encouraged to enroll. Goals for February to May include developing students individual vocal technique and exploring repertoire which will highlight the abilities of each. The class will also prepare for presentations at school events and other opportunities. Instructor Bio: The class will be taught by Carol Pharo, B.A. in Music from Penn State, M.M. from New England Conservatory, an Advanced Certificate in Singing from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and a diploma in fortepiano from The Royal Conservatory in the Hague.
