Ultimate Youth NFL Football Camp! - Olney, MD
Join local DMV native and star Miami Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins for the ultimate kids football camp this summer. The camp will be hosted by Jenkins and ten NFL Players from around the league. The non-padded, light contact camp aims to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. The two-day camp is for 5th grade through rising ninth grade boys and girls, and promotes healthy activity, exercise and teamwork. Know any kids who would love to attend? We have felt the detrimental impact of state sanctioned violence, which has led to too many of our children, parents, friends, family and community members behind bars. CJNY member organizations continue to do the critical organizing and advocacy work to resist the structural racism within our justice and education systems. Art in Nature Camp - Churchill Park
Let nature inspire creativity! Each day, campers will use different media to express artistic natural themes. Different tools and techniques will be used throughout the week to create unique and original masterpieces. A variety of nature topics will be covered to add to the learning element. Positional Camp - Yum Center
All participants will receive individual instruction from U of L coaching staff on a specific position. • 2 night sessions from 4:30-7:30p will be set aside for specialty sessions • Advanced, detailed instruction in the fundamentals and tactics of each skill will be taught in a 3-hour session. • Specific position topics will include setting, outside and right side hitting, middle hitting and serve receive/defense. Accelerated Honors Geometry - Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School
For incoming 9th graders and returning students. This course is available to students who qualify for Honors Geometry, who are interested in taking the course over 6 weeks in the summer to be able to take Honors Algebra 2/Trig during the 2016-2017 school year. Current students interested in this opportunity must be approved by the math department. The average child gets just 6 minutes of unstructured outdoors time per day, but were changing that at camp. 3rd and 4th Grade Summer Basketball Camp - Kittery Community Center
This camp is aimed at the basketball player who may have some basketball experience but wishes to learn more. The clinic staff will introduce the aspiring player to fundamental basketball skills as well as some of the finer points for the game in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere. The clinic will include demonstrations, contests, guest speakers, and much more. This camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., at the Kittery Community Center.
