Full Day: Ages 5-12; Half Day: Ages 3-5:Heres an exciting opportunity to enjoy age appropriate sports, games, arts & crafts, and more in this supercharged environment. The Club will feature organized activities as well as time for participants to engage in activities based on their own interests. Sports include soccer, basketball, hockey, and others. In addition, there will be games and non-competitive activities designed for everyones enjoyment. Special events and surprises will heighten the event. Dance Arts & Tumbling - Greensboro Day School
Dance Arts & Tumbling $185 Rising K-2 July 11-15 8:30am-2:00 This camp will get your childs creative juices flowing for the summer. Each student will learn creative movement, tumbling, stretching, and basic dance steps. We will create art and craft projects that will be used in different dances. On the last day we will have a short showing for parents 30 minutes before camp is over. Boating: Basic Sailing Camp - Lake Merritt Boating Center
Piedmont Recreation is proud to partner with the City of Oakland Lake Merritt Boating Center. Piedmont Recreation offers transportation to and from these camps. The Basic Sailing Camp requires a swim evaluation that can be arranged through the Piedmont Community Pool at (510) 655-5163. SWIM EVALUATION IS REQUIRED. This entry level sailing class will definitely give kids a chance to get their "sea legs". The campers start off learning the parts of the sailboat and by weeks end theyll understand wind direction as it relates to propelling, and more importantly, controlling their sailboat. Games and drills on the water help to teach these basic skills. No experience is needed. If your child does not have a swim evaluation verification on file, a swim evaluation will have to be completed before the first day of camp.
