CS 8 Coding Camp - Intro to Computer Programming - Mountain View Middle School
Do you like playing video games? Do you enjoy visual art? Come learn the basics of computer coding while you design you own games and art. We will use resources from code.org, Computer Science Unplugged, and the Scratch platform. This camp is intended for those who have never taken a coding course before. Mine, Craft, and Build w/LEGO Spring Break Camp - Euclid Park
Presented by Play-Well TEKnologies. Bring Minecraft to life using thousands of LEGO! Build engineer-designed projects such as a motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether, and a moving Minecart! Create your favorite Minecraft objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor. Whether you are new to Minecraft and LEGO or a seasoned veteran, boys and girls will be hooked on the endless creative possibilities. Week 4 AM - Taste of Optis - NESS
Its never too early to get on the water! The Taste of Optis class is designed for kids aged 6-11 and does not require sailing experience. Meant to be a fun group experience, it enables kids to get a taste of sailing in one week of instruction. Students will become familiar with water safety on the docks and in an optimist trainer, while learning what it feels like to be on the water. Over the week the students will be introduced to the different parts of the boat, knots, rigging and steering. One step at a time this is an important one to take in a nurturing environment with friendly and patient instructors. 860-535-9362
