Ages 13+ Tuesdays after school Sept 20 - Dec 6 All you have to do is join and you're in a band. Just like that. In our Rock Band Boot Camp for teens you start playing together on the very first day and you don't stop. It doesn't matter how much or how little experience you have. You'll learn how to rock out with others. While rocking out with your peers in the rehearsal studio, you'll get better at your instrument and develop your skills—and your swagger. The 9th annual preacher and men's training classes will be held at the Little Egypt Youth Camp near Dahlgren, Illinois June 20-24, 2016. (For more information, visit . All students must register. Due to the generous donations of several individuals, there will be no fees this year. Meals and lodging will be provided beginning Sunday evening through Friday at noon. STRIDE - Germantown Academy
STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches. At the end of 10 weeks, the boys will run in a 5K with more than 1000 other area youth. 267-405-7520
Adventure Sailing M,W,F ($215 for 1 week, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of one week. The class, which meets 3 days a week, will have a distinct goal for each day: Long Sail Day - try to sail as far as possible from the club using wind direction, current/tide forecast, and navigational aides. During the following class the student will chart their course on a chart in the Sail Room with pins and yarn, and we can compare progress week to week. Star Chart Day - Students identify skills from the star chart they want to achieve (Anchoring, knots, upwind sailing, etc), and finally Catamaran Day! Students may take this course for a maximum of 4 weeks, and class may not be held if less than 2 children are signed up. The goal of Adventure Sailing is to accumulate the skills for the student to check out a Rhodes 19 on their own. (Note: Adventure Sailing will not be held during Race Week.) 508-228-1400

Girl Scout Sunday: Toy Hack - The Mini Maker
Patch Included During our Toy Hack sessions your kids are given a selection of old toys, such as, a GI Joe, Barbie Doll, Legos, Dinosaur figures, ect. Your kids use basic tools like a screw driver to "hack" the toys apart. Then with the use of tape, pipe cleaners, or glue gun the kids are able to reuse and recycle the pieces and create a new toy with them. For example: A Barbie Doll body with a T-Rex Head and Zombie Foot. During this session the kids are also asked to use their imaginations to create a story around the figure they have created. This workshop is open to Daisys, Brownies and Juniors. 517-233-1524
