Youth camps include three balanced meals each day, organized and supervised recreation, missionaries, chapel, camp fires, Bible study, clean cabins and showers and a health supervisor. All campers participate in the entire camping program. Campers are expected to behave in a manner honoring to God. They will remain on the grounds except when participating in scheduled activities away from camp. Campers leaving early must have written permission from parents. Campers are to be in camp by the end of the first day. NOTE: All swimming sessions are supervised, but not necessarily by certified lifeguards. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

Remember when you were growing up and played for hours outside with your friends? Things may have changed since then we are excited to offer a unique camp that adds these type of experiences to your childs summer in a safe and welcoming way. Each day pack a snack in your backpack, wear clothes that can get dirty and lets hit the trail in search of adventures! Activities can vary each day depending on the weather, childrens ages or the groups interests. Examples of some favorite activities from last summer include fishing for crabs from Ringbolt Rock, making found object sail boats or pitching the tent for a day time camp out on Planters Hill. BOSS CAMP: The Sky is Falling - This 2 week, full day camp will be an amazing opportunity for your performer to participate in a full childrens theater production from start to finish. We will have a limited number of spots available. The first day of camp will be your audition and parts will be assigned at the beginning of the 2nd day of camp. The Sky is Falling is the story of a very scared chicken, named Chicken Little. Follow his adventure as he meets many of our favorite fairytale creatures including Jack & Jill, the 3 blind mice, old McDonald and much more!
