Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. KIDS CAMP- Midwest Women's Herbal Kids Camp - Almond, WI
Kids Herbal Camp offers children the opportunity to attend the MWHC while learning about herbs through age appropriate activities. The Kids Camp offers guardians the opportunity to attend the conference along with the children in their lives. Guardians will be able to attend classes kid-free and know that their children are also being exposed to plant wisdom. Kids Herbal Camp is for children ages 3 – 11 (boys and girls are welcome to participate) and activities will be planned according to ages. This year the kids Herbal Camp is run by Heidi Huebner, founder and steward of Blue Bird Hill Homestead in Hudson, WI. Kristine Brown will be offering a workshop session for the kids too! Hi Everyone! It's almost 2016, which means it's finally time to start preparations for this summer's camp! The first informational meeting will be on Saturday, January 9th. There will be a total of two informational meetings (the second on January 31st). If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. Also, keep an eye out on your emails for the counselor application that will be released soon. Can't wait to see all of you on January 9th! Spring Camp II - Dulles Golf Center
Geared toward junior players new to the game with little or no experience. Juniors will be exposed to all aspects of the game of golf! Instruction includes: grip & setup, woods, irons, short game & putting. Importance of Rules, etiquette and safety. Spring Camps are held on Sunday afternoons for 3 consecutive weeks! 8 to 12 students per instructor. Fee includes use of clubs, rule book and range balls! 703.932.0537
Gymnastics Camp July 11-14, Ages 6+ - Gymnastics Center
Campers will enjoy gymnastics, tumbling, games and arts & crafts daily. No gymnastics experience is required. All activities at Rome Gymnastics Center at 1 Shorter Avenue. Camp Hours are 8:00 AM - Noon; Monday through Thursday. No camp on Friday. Campers should bring shoes daily and dress in athletic wear. The West Fargo Park District is offering a summer youth volleyball camp for boys and girls ages 8-12. Participants will be taught fundamental skills such as serving, hitting, passing, blocking and setting. Participants need to wear athletic shoes and appropriate clothing. All participants will receive a T-shirt. Instructors will be local college volleyball players. It is recommended that participants bring water bottles with them each day.
