Owner of Flower City Yoga and Art Therapist, Nora Doebrich will be hosting 3 very special Yoga Camps, this Summer. Activities will include; fun movment/yoga games, arts and crafts intended to calm the mind, anatomy education to build body awareness, yoga poses to promote self-esteem, group directives to create a sense of community and excerises to increase relaxation. We also have Mary Stachowski of Food, Fun and Friends who will be joining us for the Thursday of each week. Together we will be cooking a healthy snack for us to enjoy. 7/11- 7/15 Ages 5-7 7/25-7/29 Ages 8-10 8/8-8/12 Ages 11-13 Camps will run Monday- Friday 1pm-3pm. Cost of Camp is $120 and $100 for additional sibling.

Features a Bay sailing adventure! Gain your sea legs this week as you learn about the wonders of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. Hike out to the Point Bonita Lighthouse to see the power of the Pacific and the only lighthouse in the U.S. accessed by a suspension bridge. Step back in time and discover how the Coast Miwok people relied on the ocean and bay. Midweek, youll sail aboard the schooner Seaward to observe marine mammals, learn about maritime navigation, and identify plankton under microscopes. Skyhawks Beginning Golf Skyhawks Beginning Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system as its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs--all equipment is provided. The students will be having camp at a park, not on an actual golf course. All participants receive a t-shirt and a merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen. Safety Camp - Blue Heron Elementary School
Lino Lakes Public Safety Department, Centennial Lakes Police Department, Centennial Fire District, Lexington Fire Department, and Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department present the Annual Safety Camp! Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of serious injury and/or death of children. This camp is taught by those who respond to those types of incidents each day in an effort to reduce the numbers of injuries that occur each year. The camp includes sessions on bike safety, fire safety, 911 procedure, water safety, personal safety, electrical safety, outdoor safety and first aid - all in an informative and fun atmosphere. The knowledge campers learn will allow them to make the right decisions when faced with unsafe conditions. Safety Camp is intended for children entering 4th grade the fall of 2016. Pre-registration is required and limited to the first 150 participants Priority will be given to residents residing in Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, Lexington, and Centerville until June 17.
