Kids start the morning cleaning stalls and doing other jobs, then have a well-supervised fellowship lunch, then ride or do other horse activities in the afternoon. For the kids that are interested in doing other things doing the horsemanship time, we have interesting building or maintenance projects as well as gardening. Sometimes we have someone come share an aspect of their career, or we will go on a field trip to a business, and sometimes we need to go pick up hay or other donations as part of the camp day.
