Kentucky 4-H Teen Summit is held annually at the Kentucky 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, KY. The conference is for youth who are currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. This program is designed to develop leadership, citizenship and communication skills in youth. While at the conference, all participants get to learn in fun and educational workshops taught by members of the Kentucky 4-H State Teen Council. The conference also includes motivational speakers that get young people excited about leadership. The cost to attend is $115 which includes meals, lodging, and transportation. Make Your Own Comic Book - The Evergreen School
Students will draw their own comic book while learning storyboarding, basic character drawing, and 3D drawing. There will be opportunities to read comic books and to use how-to-draw guides in Manga, Anime, and various other styles. On the last day everyone will take home the comic book they created. This class is led in a supportive and creative atmosphere by Lukas Allenbaugh, who has over 20 years of experience teaching various styles of art to children. 206-957-1533
