Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual Middle School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: 1. To build strong student-leader relationships 2.To build strong peer relationships 3.To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. Vacation Camp: Spring Pottery April 11-14 Students will spend the days learning various pottery techniques, including handbuilding and wheel throwing*, and will create vessels and sculptures that are unique, fun, functional and decorative. This is where it all begins! Learning fun and balance as young as 2 years old, kids and families spend 45 minutes doing age appropriate games and skills in order to achieve proper balance and steering skills. Strider (push bike) camp is geared toward kids who are walking with their bikes, not fully sitting on the seat and not yet gliding or striding. But, it is also for those kids who are ready to learn how to turn, stop and maneuver obstacles. Parents will be hands on during this class. Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques of slab application, handbuilding, texture application, and glass fusion into clay.
