This camp is a young designers dream come true! With an emphasis on the creative process, campers will design and construct their own products from found objects, recycled materials, clay, wire, metal and other building materials; sketch a window display for an imaginary company, and use various art media to complete products. Campers will learn about form, structure, the elements of design and three-dimensional concepts. Stretch your imagination and join us in this creative workshop environment! Shoot for the Stars, Inc. is proud to present the 2016 Back to Basics Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp at Benjamin Franklin High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The summer camp will be held in two one-week sessions designed to engage inner-city youth (ages of 8-18) by teaching, mentoring and coaching students to not only become solid athletes, but to help them develop into successful, productive human beings.

Just Cruising Equestrian Center Summer Camp Week 1 - Kingdom City, MO
Send your child to our day camps for a great learning opportunity with experienced and dedicated staff, amazing horses, and lots of hands-on crafts and activities! Students will help with care of the horses (feeding, watering, pasture turnout, stall cleaning, etc.) and learn about horse anatomy, colors, breeds, conformation, and tack. The last day of camp includes a mini horse show for parents to come watch what their kids have been learning throughout the week. All levels of riders are welcome, even if students have never ridden before. The cost of the summer camp is $350. A $100 deposit is required to reserve a spot. Camp runs from 8:00 am to 4 pm. This will be the Teens at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church first Retreat. We are excited for what God has in store for this generation.The Theme for the Retreat this year is Joy! ( Jesus First Others Second & Yourself Third ) We are expecting that there will be a lot of spiritual growth, fun, camp retreat activities, food, laughter, music, friends, family, and a whole lot of Jesus!!! Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.

Although photography is the worlds newest art form, as a concept it was known by Aristotle. In this brief course we will review the evolution of photography from its beginnings to the digital cameras of today. Along the way, youll be introduced to some of the most influential individuals who played an important role leading to the creation of modern photography. We will discuss how painting influenced photography and how photography influenced painting. In just three sessions, well have a chance to see the oldest surviving photographs, Daguerreotypes, Silver Nitrate prints, early color photographs, modern pixel- based images and much more.
