Teen Yoga Camp (ages 15 - 18) - Garden City, ID
The beauty of yoga is self discovery. The best time for that is now! Introducing a new Teen Yoga Camp at Essential Hot Yoga Glennwood location. It is often said by yoga students, "I wish I would have found yoga much younger". Yoga gently opens up the body and the mind for greater self love and compassion. The teen years can be very confusing with many physical changes resulting in emotional and mental stress. The connection of body and mind through the practice of yoga has been shown to benefit children greatly and provide a path for self regulation as they transition into young adults. In this special Teen Yoga Camp your child will have the opportunity to chat with other teens about issues surrounding their life. Meghan is a recent college graduate and Yoga Teacher who understands the struggles of the teen age years. Experience a posture lab and learn correct alignment and take a Essential Hot Yoga class with music and low heat! This workshop will fill up quickly. World Cooking - The Evergreen School
Students will be learning how to make simple dishes from several different cultures. Their kitchen experiences will be supplemented by fun activities highlighting the region the food comes from. Children should be prepared for a week of yummy eating with a cultural learning experience included. 206-957-1533

Cookie Chemistry - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Did you know that your favorite sweet treats are the product of an interesting array of chemical reactions? Tie on your apron! Its time to bake some sweet treats as we have fun learning about the science of baking and kitchen safety. Participants in this session will learn the science behind baking the perfect cookie as well as the proper way to measure and mix ingredients, kitchen safety, baking techniques, and how to overcome baking challenges as we make a different type of cookie each day (including at least one gluten free option). Ms. Suzanne Russell earned her M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University. She is the subject area librarian for Brebeufs Religious Studies and Science departments. Crazy About Clay, 2nd Session - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 8 to 12 Description: All Clay, all the time! In this class, students will learn the art of ceramics by building, sculpting, and creating on the pottery wheel. We will experiment with various tools and glazes as students express themselves through creativity and color in this fun and functional 3D art form. Triple Threat Musical Theater (July 5) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
Acting, singing, and dancing are all aspects of musical theatre, master them all, and you become a triple threat. This camp will help build these talents through the firsthand experience of performing in a musical. This firsthand experience will provide campers with the knowledge they need to participate in a theatrical production at their school or in the community and allow your child to get ahead of their performing peers.
