Our College ID sessions offer top quality instruction to take your game to the next level. We will work on the technical side of your game at game speed and under game pressure through exercises and competitions that will help improve first touch, receiving and playing the ball with different surfaces of your foot, passing and shooting accuracy, service over distance, defensive positioning, heading, finishing, and MORE! We will also build on your tactical awareness of the game and your understanding of runs off the ball, defensive organization and communication, along with how to deal with numbers up vs. numbers down situations. Hang with the Bears on and off the field and learn what it takes to be a Division I college soccer player. Residential campers reside in Residence Halls in the center of the UC Berkeley Campus. All campers dine in the state-of-the-art Dining Center. Positive Life Change
Although they mentioned "life changing" on their mission statement I though that was just advertising. It turns out this truly was a life changing summer for our daughter. She was also a sweet girl a little on the shy side. But this summer she seemed to blossom. She came home confident and eager to participate in activities at our church. Turn the ordinary into extraordinary in this creative class! Well make concoctions and prepare potions from basic kitchen ingredients. See what everyday materials are capable of as you become a kitchen chemist for the week! *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. August 8-11: Muddy Buddies:Mud, Clay and Camouflage - Mountain Kids!
Getting dirty has to be one of the greatest joys of childhood (and lucky adults)! This week we will learn about mud, clay and camouflage in a variety of ways. Well muck in the mud, create things with clay, and combine both art forms to camouflage ourselves in nature, becoming stealthy stalkers in many a game. This is a TEAM camp that will have very little instruction but will be set up more for Middle School teams getting prepared for the upcoming season. There will be different forms of tournaments set up that will vary based on the score of each set along with a traditional tournament that will run throughout the entire 3 days. The camp is $45 per camper and they will receive a lunch on all 3 days. Also, there is a team minimum of 8 kids per middle school.
