PREMIER: 5 - 8 years Soccer Shot Premier is for children who wish to build upon what their current skills. Focusing on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, each session provides an opportunity for kids to be challenged through fun games and team competitions. Children will also be introduced to tactical elements of the game as they prepare to play on competitive teams. Children should arrive dressed in comfortable clothing, shin guards and cleats. Please bring water, snacks, and sunscreen to camp. From Beginners to experienced riders, Summer Kid's Horse Camp is a fun experience teaching horse care, horse riding skills and teamwork! Camp is for ages 4-14 and runs Tuesday through Friday from 8a-12pm with a demonstration and bbq on Friday for family to see what the students learned through the week. Cost is $150 for Early Bird Registration.
Camping Kid's Night - Springfield, MO
Kids age 3 through 6th grade are invited to join us for a camping themed kid's night. We will sing campfire songs, eat s'mores, play games, and hear a camping inspired Bible story. There will be an adult service available for parents and a youth class.

Lego Robotics Plus Scratch Video Game Design - The Surge Community Center
Renaissance is excited to provide an exciting, hands-on experience to teach students the basics of computer programming. The camp is available for rising 2rd graders-rising 6th graders. Students create their own games, learning modules, animations or interactivities using a programming language developed by the M.I.T. Media Lab. Elementary Beginning Scratch PLUS Legos: Fun With Programming Do you have a camper who is passionate about technology? Has your camper always loved building and working with Legos? Now, your camper can experience the best of both worlds in a new camp. In this class, campers will build with Legos but also learn how to use the program Scratch to make characters called Sprites dance, walk, talk, and interact with other Sprites on laptops. Scratch makes it easy for students to become a program designer and write top-notch programs that feature animations, stories and simulations. Its the easiest most exciting way to become a 21st century programmer! This is a weeklong camp combined with Lego building, which uses both a fun programming and building environment. In this session in the Makerspace we will combine two great activities - both provide the camper to express their creativity with tile and glass. Using broken tile pieces, the children will create and build a small mosaic tile table. Then with stained glass they will have a choice to make items such as boxes or sun catchers. We will be thinking outside the box and learning some fun science along the way in this trash to treasure adventure.
