Dream of being a pop star? Then come to camp and start that journey! Learn vocals and choreography to Taylor Swift and Katy Perrys most popular songs among others! Take the stage and perform with cordless mics under the LED and laser lights! We will learn choreography and vocals to a medley of songs and put on a performance at the end of camp. Summer Camp 2016 - Tulatin, OR
Summer Camp 2016 is at Twin Rocks Friends Camp, August 1-5 for Middle and High School students. Students will participate in activities including basketball, volleyball, octo-ball, ping-pong, billiards, disc “Frisbee” golf, miniature golf, Spring Lake for swimming, canoeing, and blobbing, and have life-changing moments including services with Donnie Moore and high energy worship music. Musical Robots - MacRostie Art Center
Art, science, technology and math! Troy Rogers is a composer, instrument builder, and educator whose work often finds itself at various intersections of art and technology. For more than ten years, he has been creating robotic musical instruments and producing music for these novel devices. He will provide an ensemble of percussion robots for the workshop and guide students through the process. Kits available for purchase but not required for workshop participation. Not all beautiful ceramic work is thrown on a wheel! We will join slabs of clay into beautiful works of art using a variety of techniques and surface patterns.
