What an amazing experience for our daughter! We had hoped joining the Girl Scouts would bring her out of her shell a little bit and now she is such a bright and confident young girl, we couldn't be happier. A few days to BE A KID AGAIN! Join us while we have a great week of fun and fellowship. WoodmenLife members and their spouses, ages 55 and up. Camp fee is ONLY $35 Trust me, these aren't "just old folks", we have a blast and do almost all the same activities the youth campers do! New for 2016 we have added a day trip to Millstone Creek Orchards in Ramseur, Thursday October 6th. Bus fair is sponsored by the Bessemer City Chapter 1286, and tickets are covered in your registration fee. Don’t forget to bring YOUR secret award winning dessert for our Home Cookin’ Cook Off. The winner will receive a prize from WoodmenLife. Bring your silent auction items, as we will be holding a benefit for the camp. Also we will participate in another food drive for our National Community Focus, FIGHT HUNGER! Items will be donated to a local shelter. Things you will need to bring: Bedding items: sheets and blankets. Personal hygiene items: soap, shampoo, bug spray and sun block are recommended. BSA Spirit Night - Summer Camp Fundraiser - Carrollton, TX
Boy Scouts Troop 114 is raising funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, April 7th. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Please share this event out with everyone you know who lives in the area; everyone is welcome and invited to join! Thank you all for supporting our boys. It takes a lot to get these kids to Colorado and we truly could not do this without your help!!!

The Summer Camp: On The Road Tour returns in 2016! Mainstage Morgantown submitted 12 area bands from WV, PA, OH, MD based on website, social media presence, recorded material, tour history, festival history, and local fanbase. The Summer Camp on the Road committee chose the following acts: The Company Stores Fletcher's Grove Grand Ole' Ditch The Jakobs Ferry Stragglers Dale and the ZDubs Each paid $5 entry recieves a voters card to submit anytime during the contest. The winning band wins a paid spot on this years Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, NY.
