Week 3 (6-8) Deep Space Bots (LEGO EV3 Robots) - iSPACE
Travel to the edge of the universe in a robotic adventure that reveals a future when humankind will transform distant planets into livable habitats. Campers join Space Shuttle Entropys team as they investigate distant moons and planets. They will put their programming and engineering skills to work in this engaging robot adventure in deep space! 513-612-5786

Positional Camp II - Hearnes Center
Features concentrated instruction for the athlete (grade 6-12) who wishes to focus on a designed poition (setter, outside hitter, middle blocker, or libero/defensive specialist). Campers will spend the majority of their time drilling on those skills unique to their chosen position. Team play is also provided to incorporate individual skill development into team offensive and defensive systems. Camp is open to all female participants only limited by age. 573-882-0726

Cookie Chemistry - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Did you know that your favorite sweet treats are the product of an interesting array of chemical reactions? Tie on your apron! Its time to bake some sweet treats as we have fun learning about the science of baking and kitchen safety. Participants in this session will learn the science behind baking the perfect cookie as well as the proper way to measure and mix ingredients, kitchen safety, baking techniques, and how to overcome baking challenges as we make a different type of cookie each day (including at least one gluten free option). Ms. Suzanne Russell earned her M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University. She is the subject area librarian for Brebeufs Religious Studies and Science departments. Fossil Beach Field Trip - EcoAdventures
Fossil Beach Field Trip (Led by our very own Mei Len Sanchez Barr) June 29th 9am – 4pm $80 Are you ready to go Fossil Hunting? Join our team of fossil hunter enthusiasts, where we will go in our ECOADVENTURES Snake van to Matoaka Beach in St. Leonards. Put your skills to the test (and with a little luck), dig, unearth, and uncover, shark, crocodile, whale, skate and rays, and shells fossils from the Chesapeake Bay! Best part- is you get to keep what you find! Learn and participate in seining activities where we will look at the marine life and catch fish, eels, shrimp, crabs, and more! Have your team participate in a beach scavenger hunt. All this fun will make you hungry for a BBQ lunch with hot dogs, chips, and a drink while you relax in a gazebo overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.
