2016 Summer Camp: Forensics Camp (4th-6th grade) - Salem Parks and Recreation
Salem Forensics Camp instructor is Mark Ingerson, Salem High School Forensics Coach. This camp runs Monday and Friday from 8:30am am to 11:30 am for grades 4th-6th. GRADES 4th - 6th

Intro to Lego Robotics - Glenmont Elementary
Introducing the brand new Lego WeDo 2.0. Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer or tablet, and configure behaviors using simple programming. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects. This robotics class covers topics within science, technology, mathematics and engineering. Science was never this much fun! Grades 4 & 5 meet on Wednesdays. Grades 1-3 meet on Thursdays. Students in grade 3 participating in both programs will meet on Wednesdays for Lego Robotics. Drones (ages 8-12) - Camp Hickory Hill
Learn to skillfully fly a remote controlled helicopter drone, then race the clock in our drone obstacle course. Take your drone home to enjoy after camp! There will still be plenty of time for other traditional camp activities including swimming, Catan ball, campfires and Bible Exploration!! Ceramics 5 - Funky and Functional - Artists Exchange
Not everything functional has to be boring, right? A plate is a plate and a bowl is a bowl but in this week of camp, campers will learn to make functional things extraordinary! Roll, flatten, pinch, cut, and bend. Use traditional hand building techniques to make pottery that is funky functional and fantastic. Ceramics camps allow children to immerse themselves in clay studio studies ranging from basic hand building, wheel throwing, and sculpting. Campers will learn a variety of skills designed to fit the camp they are in. Ceramic focus campers will learn the technical aspects of recycling, slab work, build a simple kiln from a metal trash can and firing pottery in it. All under the guidance of a professional potter and the fire department. Clay adventures offers a beginners taste of experimenting with clay. Sculpting camps have a slight focus on bringing 2-D drawings and images of characters into 3-D form. 401-490-9475

Setter/Libero - Devaney
Setter/Libero Camp is designed to teach players the basic fundamentals of their specific position. This day camp covers all the aspects of setter/libero training and will provide campers with many drills and exercises that they can do at home. The camp caters to beginning setters/liberos and the most experienced setters/liberos at the high school level.
