Our fourth week of cooking camp is for our 8-13 year old age group. In this 5 day fun filled camp, kids will visit the very places where food come's from and that's not the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Each day, we will explore the very places where beautiful, delicious, healthy food comes from. Then, it's back to the kitchen where we will create yummy dishes with the products that we learned about. Kids will have totally hands on experience both in and outside the kitchen. They will learn about nutrition, sustainability, responsible food sourcing along with basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, basic knife skills, recipe reading and so much more. Classes will be Monday thru Thursday from 8am-2pm with a fun cooking competition on Friday where the kids will cook for the parent's and compete for titles like most creative, dish, best knife skills, best use of cooking techniques and more. Price-$250/student Each student will receive Hands on experience learning age appropriate techniques for preparing and cooking all types of food.
