Join Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center for a day of crafting on the day off from school on November 11th. Kids ages 5-12 will enjoy weaving with natural and recycled materials, and felting with naturally dyed alpaca fleece. Featuring special guest Phylleri Ball of Three Sisters Weaving. Kids will love spending this beautiful Fall day in the mountains of Nederland, outside of Boulder and Denver. Teen Summer Camp - Macedonia, OH
Long Tail Knits will be hosting a summer camp for students looking to learn to knit or crochet. This will be held at the store June 13 through June 17 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You will learn the basics in knit/crochet. Your choice. The cost of the camp will be $25.00 per day or $125.00 for the week. If you pay for the entire week ahead of time, you will receive a 10% discount. This does not include the cost of materials. We will be offering beginner patterns for those who are just starting out and for those who have some of the basics down, we will have intermediate beginner projects for learning other techniques and stitches. Residential Camp-Young Elite Boys & Girls - Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium
The overall goal of the Camp is to educate and challenge players of all levels, while focusing the serious soccer player towards achieving their next level. Camp will offer both technical and tactical sessions, delivered by our nationally recognized coaching staff. Campers will be placed into age and ability specific groups as to optimize the environment for each players development. Our curriculum is designed to challenge each player through the combination of small and big-sided match play coupled with daily training sessions focused on various technical and tactical aspects. A recruiting seminar for high school campers will be offered during camp. This camp is geared toward the serious soccer player who has aspirations of playing in high school, college or beyond. 817-257-6680

The Elephants Child - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team. Battle Camp PeeWees - Chaparral Ice
Shoot to Score Hockey and the Texas Junior Stars will be hosting the Battle Camp giving players a great opportunity to compete with and against some of the top players in their age group. Showcase your abilities and compete level to the Junior Stars coaching staff through high tempo drills, small area battles, and game like situations.
