A week full of fun and games! We will make sun prints, have water relay races, play parachute and fishing games, pretend to go camping in the courtyard, make bird feeders, and have extra fun with water and bubbles! Incoming 5th and 6th graders will learn the basic usage and safety of HAND TOOLS including a coping saw, file, sanding block, and cordless drill. Some small machines may be used such as the scroll saw, spindle sander, Dremel engraver, and drill press. All activities will be demonstrated and supervised by Mr. Caris, the current Woodworking teacher at NBJH. Students will choose a project from a beginner list. Other projects will be available if time permits. Projects choices include a can lamp, small cutting board, name block, or tombstone clock. 8475043400 x2520

This camp was created especially for paddlers who have completed our River Adventures Kayak Camp, or have strong river-running skills. Join us for five full days of exploring new waterways and wildlife-watching from a kayak! Well supply all the equipment you need (kayaks, PFDs, and paddles), just bring your lunch and your sense of adventure. On Friday, why not invite your parents to come along for the day? Itll give you a chance to show off and leave them in your wake. Campers must be able to swim and tread water for one minute.
