Sounds of Silence is a guided program designed specifically for infants to two year old children. It is a time for parent and child to leave the noisy, often over-stimulated world and connect through gestures, body language and facial expressions. The class moves slowly and calmly creating a safe, relaxing environment for very little people to experience our ranch and the wonders of Mother Nature. With no chit-chatting from the adults, there is a distinct and beautiful emphasis on what each child is noticing and how they are interacting with that plant, rock, animal or new friend. Throughout Sounds of Silence, the Barn Faerie shows and models a myriad of ways to support you and your young child in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and awakening to the natural world. Cardinal Mens Basketball Day Camp Week 2 2015 - UIW Richard and Janet Cervera Wellness Center
The Cardinals Camp works to improve skills through individual instruction, drills, lectures and games. We feel the staff-camper ratio is very important and maintain a ratio of one coach for each 10 campers. Camp staff will instruct campers on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and shooting as well as both individual and team offensive and defensive strategies. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp Dates: * Week 1 - June 6th - 10th (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp * Week 2 - June 27th - July 1st (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration, Walk-ins, Drop-Off and Pick Up will be held at the UIW Convocation Center. The Fort Frankfort Adventures Summer Day Camp is back for another awesome summer. This camp is designed for children entering 1st - 6th grade this fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days arts & crafts and a feild trip each week. Fort Frankfort Summer Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held a Commisioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Ave. in Frankfort. The Frankfort Park District continues its partnership with School District 157C for the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commisioners Park. We will use the facility for before and after camp and during inclement weather conditions. The camp will run from 9-4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a bfore and after care option. Bring a lunch and water bottle each day. Luch may be included on certain field trip days.Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. INSTRUCTOR Staff

This ten day camp begins on grounds and travels to the majestic high country of the Rocky Mountains for a conditioning phase before a five day backpacking expedition. Campers will each carry all of their and the group needs in backpacks as they transverse mountains and valleys. This camp is not for super athletes, but for the young person who is willing to resist fatigue and accept challenges which will take them to the next level and create great memories. Ultimate New England Expedition - Petra Cliffs
Ages 12-16. Begin by getting to know each other on the Bolton Adventure Center ropes course, and then get psyched for a traveling adventure of climbing, hiking and sea kayaking! This trip will include climbing in New Hampshire and on the sea cliffs of Maine in Acadia National Park, sea kayaking around Mt. Desert Island, hiking Cadillac Mountain and Mt. Sewing camp is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill that will last a lifetime! In this sewing camp, your child will learn a variety of hand-machine-sewing skills. They will learn to comfortably use the sewing machine and practice basic sewing stitches. We will make projects such as pillows, iPod holders, tote bags, aprons, draw string bags, book covers, water bottle holders and more. As a final project, campers will learn the art of quilting. We will provide all the colorful, beautiful fabrics, and the materials. On Friday, the campers will prepare snacks and lunch as part of their camp experience.
