Great sports camp for my daughter and son
My daughter and son thrived at this camp. They are both active children who would rather be outdoors than inside. They are also very social, which is why they loved the fact this camp draws campers from all over the world. Kid's Summer MMA Camp - Decatur, AL
The Camp will take place July 11-15 from 10am-1pm each day, and the cost is $100 per child and is intended for children ages 6-12. We will be fully staffed with experienced instructors ready to help your child have an incredible Martial Arts experience. Camp includes: -- 15 hours of training! -- Certificate of Completion! -- An opportunity to earn a Belt Stripe in our Martial Arts program! -- First month of Academy enrollment FREE (for new members)! -- A light lunch is included each day ATTIRE: Clean shorts and t-shirt or rashguard with finger and toe nails trimmed. Pants and tank tops will not be allowed. GOAL: To safely introduce new students to Martial Arts and the 10th Planet Decatur System of self-defense. Polish and expand the skills of students with previous experience. Improve conditioning, as well as listening skills. Empower and inspire participants to be assertive and confident and help prepare them for the new school year including how to deal with bullying, from preventing to properly engaging if necessary. "Alivers" will enjoy a fun and challenging combination of both on-site and off-site activities. Campers will be involved in on-site activities such as the group challenge course, swimming, crafts, hiking, campfires, talent shows, enjoy a group campout and cookout, play games, prepare skits for the weekly talent show, participate in devotions and help lead worship services. Other activities include high ropes, GaGa ball, and more. Off-site, campers may canoe on Lake Reese (about 10 miles from Mount Shepherd) and/or hike on Ridge Mountain (about seven miles from Mount Shepherd). 336-629-4085

The Seattle Prep freshman football coaching staff is hosting a 9-day football camp for all incoming 9th grade students interested in joining our football family. This is a wonderful opportunity for your son to begin cultivating relationships that will last a lifetime, meet the freshman and varsity coaching staffs, and enjoy developing skills and fundamentals of football. The staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting two weeks of football and get to know our student-athletes. We will teach all campers the fundamentals and skills that are needed to compete in football safely. Most importantly, we will teach a winning attitude that will enable each camper to become the best individual and team player he can be. This is a contact camp. However, contact is limited with various tempos being used for teaching purposes as we develop our young Panthers.
