Kids In The Arts Fall Camp - Knoxville, TN
A kids in the arts camp with various teachers teaching their loves in art, dance, story and performance. Activities included dance, Improv games, sculpture, dream catcher making, watercolor, painting, zen doodle, stained "glass", paper making, poetry, storytelling and more. Artist teachers include Mimi Eichholz, Jennifer White, Felecia Outsey, Kristi Gilleon, Karl Hess, Claudio Barrientos, Cynthia Baglir and Noelle Harb. On Friday we will take a field trip to Narrow Ridge Eath Literacy Center. Chaperons are welcome as wellas drivers to transport kids! Camp is $200. Scholarships are available too so ask about that. 2016 JOE RUSSELL PATRIOT WRESTLING CAMPS George Mason University Head Wrestling Coach Joe Russell is gearing up for wrestling camps. Camps include 3 commuter Folkstyle Technique Camps July 25-29 (high school only), August 1-5 (ages 6 - 18) and August 8-12 (ages 6 - 12) and a Parent/Child Family Camp August 5-6. The 2016 staff will be headlined by the Mason coaching staff and wrestlers. Coach Russell brings in outstanding credentials as both an athlete and coach. Coach Russell has THREE NCAA national championship rings from the University of Minnesota as an assistant coach. Patriot camps will not only be beneficial to the competitors but for coaches to learn and interact with one of the most knowledgeable coaches in our profession. Camp will be held in the Field House on George Mason Universitys campus. We will be offering top-notch technique stemming from the Patriot wrestling system along with one-on-one interaction with Patriot wrestlers and coaches. Our GOAL is to provide the campers with a meaningful experience where they grow as a wrestler and a person. Campers will be offered the chance to play their favorite character in a fairy tale mashup that promises lots of laughs and maybe a lesson or two. They will learn the basics of theatre performance while rehearsing a show that will be performed for family and friends on the last day of class. When campers are signed up, please tell us what character they would like to be and the teachers will write an original play incorporating all the chosen characters. Cutoff date for signups is July 13 (to complete script writing). Instructors: Shannon and Martha Frazier This camp may be combined with: Sketchbooks and Journals, Combined Cost: $270 OR Rock n Roll Explorations Camp, Combined Cost: $295 *** A minimum $50 deposit each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp. 502-241-6018

Learning how to play instruments fosters self-expression, boosts listening skills, and enhances coordination. This new class is offered as an introduction for students to learn the basics of playing the piano and piano skills. Previous knowledge of playing is not required. It is open for both JAC and non-JAC students. Classes are 1-on-1 and last 15 minutes. The Enrichment Program will coordinate with JAC to transfer students to and from their lessons. Please note, however, the Janney Enrichment Program cannot provide supervision for non-JAC students after 3:30 PM. Students who are in a different class until 4:30 can be supervised to attend a piano class at 4:30 or 4:55.
