You can expect camping, ultimate, sideline shenanigans, ferry rides, crafts, Nana Hoover, and new friend making. This summer camp will teach discipline, self-respect, respect for others, and overall wellness all in a UFC fitness inspired class. Kids will learn valuable life disciplines and the importance of physical fitness and healthy nutrition. Some activities include: • Age appropriate workouts • Basic Self Defense Course • Intro to Mixed Martial Arts • Basic Nutrition Awareness • Anti-Bullying Curriculum Come join us and help raise fitness awareness all while supporting your local school district. Looking for some more Cedar Run fun? We offer special Discovery by the Day sessions at the beginning and end of summer. You can pay by the day to accommodate your scheduling needs. Activities will be planned so campers attending for just a few days wont feel like they missed out! When you know your childs schedule you can pay for only those days of adventure you need. Our Junior Academy sessions offer top quality instruction to take your game to the next level. We will work on the technical side of your game at game speed and under game pressure through exercises and competitions that will help improve first touch, receiving and playing the ball with different surfaces of your foot, passing and shooting accuracy, service over distance, defensive positioning, heading, finishing, and MORE! We will also build on your tactical awareness of the game and your understanding of runs off the ball, defensive organization and communication, along with how to deal with numbers up vs. numbers down situations. Hang with the Bears on and off the field and learn what it takes to be a Division I college soccer player. Residential campers reside in Unit 3 Residence Halls in the center of the UC Berkeley Campus. All campers dine in the state-of-the-art Crossroads Dining Center. Join Northwestern Goalkeeper Trainer and former Pro, Ovidio Felcaro, for the goalkeeper-specific curriculum at the Commuter Camp. Players will be exposed to modern goalkeeper training techniques and coaching which will include (but is not limited to) footwork, basic handling, advanced handling, diving, cross management, distribution, and decision making. This camp is a combination of four different camps where you play, learn, and participate in the following sports being offered: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Martial Arts/Cheer. Everyday campers get to play and learn a different sport and the last day of camp all campers play a scrimmage game for 20 minutes in each sport. Come join us for the week and make new friends!
