Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls. Make summer time a great time to play and explore! Camp Kateri is a week-long day and overnight summer camp at Rosaryville Spirit Life Center located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Established in the 1960s, our youth summer camp continues to offer an exciting and enriching summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7-13. Each summer, Camp Kateri provides a special summer camp program of recreation, adventure, creativity and fun!
