(Class might go until 5:00) And every Saturday after that except 11/28 and 12/26 Recital 1/17/16 Class Description --------------- ACT I - INTRODUCTION TO ACTING II: AGES 5-17 Students ages will be exposed to various acting warm ups and exercises connecting movement and sound. They will also learn how to read a script, mark stage directions, memorize lines, audition and conquer stage fright. Students focus on acting and character development through exercises, techniques, and improvisation Actors will develop a strong understanding of character development, acting techniques and monologues, as well as theatre etiquette. This class is all about being an actor. Returning students from the Summer Camp will be given an advanced curriculum --------- Acting Class Fee $100.00 for 14 weeks Payment schedules are available Saturdays 3:30- 4:30 or 5:00 October 3 - January 16 No class 11/28 or 12/26

2 Weeks of Aikido Camp. Monday through Friday Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Early drop (starting from 7:30am) off & late pick up (up to 6pm) up also available. We start at the dojo in the morning with formal Aikido classes. Then we clean up, eat lunch, and weather permitting, change into beach wear and head to the beach for lots of Aikido-related games and races, like sumo wrestling and bokto watermelon-cutting. Beginning Burlesque with Sasha Sullivan - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Burlesque is a celebration of femininity. Women of all ages come together for a fun-filled journey into this incredible art form, ultimately empowering their creative, sensual, feminine beings. Telluride Theatres own Sasha Sullivan and Melissa Harris, who have been teaching burlesque classes for four years, are excited take new students on an eight-week journey into the world of burlesque. They will start with the basics – the history, dance moves, striptease, creating a character, and owning your space. Students will develop their very own burlesque character and walk away with a full routine, a set of pasties, and a portrait. At the close of the class, some students will be chosen to perform at BURLESQUE, a live variety show on the Sheridan Opera House stage at the end of March, a benefit for Telluride Theatre. Space is limited for this course as students will get to tour around the facility and learn specific information and needs of our animal collection. Students will get to not only encounter animals in our behind the scenes animal room, but to assist with animal care, food prep, cleaning. The camp will get to put together an animal enclosure for one of our animals by working together as a team. Students learn to train an animal and even make an enrichment toy for our animals.
