Come see what the fun is all about! *This class is designed to help with kindergarten readiness. These themed camps offer a fun, engaging learning environment as we work toward kindergarten readiness through different weekly topics. *3, 4, and 5 year olds are encouraged to join our morning preschool camps, where we work on a variety of social and academic skills. *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. Cornerstone Kid's Camp - Madison, TN
This summer will be one for the books. 1st-5th graders are invited to join us for our 2015 Kid’s Camp. We will be spending a week in Crossville, TN at a beautiful camp ground. Each day is filled with swimming, hiking, fishing, group games, archery and much more. Every night we have special services specifically designed to speak into their young lives. Not only will they have a great fun-filled week of team building and new friendships, but their spiritual lives will be strengthened by the power of the word, scripture memorization and praise & worship. Your camp days will be full of exciting, structured activities sure to interest both new and returning Campers. Each day the true Camp experience begins right away as staff leads the group in fun and lively camp activities. Campers, ages 5 - 14, engage in small group activities with others in their age group. Campers have the opportunity to learn new skills and build self-esteem through Sport Activities, Creative Arts and Crafts and group games. Campers will have the opportunity to learn the basics of guitar playing and basketball skills from trained specialist. All Activities are carried out under the watchful eye of our camp Staff. We maintain a staff to Child ratio of 1:20. A First Look at First Grade (Part 1 Language Arts) - Old Trail School
Do you ever wonder what you can do to give your child a head start in reading and writing for first grade? Come to A First Look at First Grade for a basic introduction to first grade reading and writing skills. Campers will have a fun-filled week getting to know what its like to be a first grade reader and writer. Activities include: multi-sensory reading activities, writing workshop experiences, utilizing reading and writing iPad apps especially for first grade, an introduction to Friday premiers, and a look at OTS first grade edible education program.
