This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Explore the world of visual arts and different mediums - painting, drawing, sculpturing, mask making, printmaking, and clay-while learning about different artists. Participate in designing and creating a clay tile mural that will be displayed at Beck Center. Students also have the opportunity to create individual clay projects. This camp is intensive in nature and divided into two classes per day. Participants should wear clothing that can get dirty during the creation of art. Supplies provided. 3 Weeks; Mon - Fri; 9:30 am - 12 pm; Tuition: $335; Bring a snack. A Campers Art Exhibition will take place on the final day of camp, July 1 at 11:30 am. Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. There are no refunds however arrangements can be made to transfer registration to a different child. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time and culture of Knighthood. This this course we will focus on the Battle of Agincourt.... a decisive time in history. The invasion took a muster of troops... a ship voyage... and then an overland campaign. This past year saw the Anniversary celebration of the Battle at European battle sites and museums.
