My daughter is interested in marine biology, so we decided to send her to this camp. She was able to study and learn about many different aspects of marine life. She has a greater respect for any living sea creature and she wants to study this science now more than ever. 3rd Annual Fireworks Fundraiser "Celebrate and Laugh" for Avengers Fre
The Avengers Mentoring Organization (501c3) presents it's 3rd Annual Charity Fireworks Fundraiser for our 5th Annual Summer Camp! Our FREE summer camp serves 300 children ages 6-13 in and around the Metro-Detroit area. This daily camp runs from July 11, 2016-August 19, 2016. Locations are: The Golightly Education Center (5536 St. Antoine) and George Crockett Academy (4851 14th St) in Detroit. During the camp, children are involved in team sports such as: volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball and more, arts and crafts, group mentoring, outdoor recreational play and are also served by a mobile dentist. Meals are provided by Good Samaritan Food and is run by up to 25 volunteers! Field trips are also optional and available! This year's theme is "Celebrate and Laugh," the fireworks is a tradition in Metro-Detroit, get a magnificent view of the fireworks at One Woodward on the 19th floor! Enjoy a barbecue style meal, laughs by Comedians Mic Larry and Simply Shanell and enjoy the sounds of singing sensation and recording artist Johnyce! There will be music, dancing and many activities, as well as a VIP charter ride to and from the event! But most of all, you will be a part of helping the Avengers...
Youth Camping Retreat (Times to be announced) - Orlando, FL
February 19-20 (Times to be announced) In addition to having an awesome time getting to hang out with the youth group, we will be getting to hang out with youth ministry families as well. We will have food, games, and times of Bible study. Our Bible study will be centered on the roles of students, parents, and youth pastor in the development of students as disciples of Jesus. If you are a non-camper, you are still welcome to come hang out and fellowship. Day visiters will be subject to regular park admission fees: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people and $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people. Further details coming...
14 Annual SE Houston Muslim Youth Camp - New Braunfels, TX
Age 13 to college young adult males Camp registration fees for 2016 are $100 per attendee. Registration closes on March 20th. The registration fee covers: *Transportation *Food *Tents *Supplies INTERESTED WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Due to camp accommodations we MUST have firm commitments. We will have youth lead group leaders, guest speakers, games, sport activities, campfires, skits, and much more on the Guadalupe River. REGISTRATION WILL INCREASE FOR LATE REGISTRATION, SO YOUR CONFIRMATION IS IMPERATIVE. Please contact Kabir or PM Chad Mohammed for any questions. They camp out overnight in the Kirby woods, learn to canoe, try their hand at archery, and participate in sports, games, and arts and crafts.
