Kid's Summer Art Camp at SCGA: July 11 - July 15 - Sumter, SC
Mon, July 11, 2016 - Fri, July 15, 2016 Summer Art Camp at the SCGA Morning Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm: Fun in the Mud (Ages 4-7) In this beginner’s pottery class students will be introduced to different kinds of clay, the pottery wheel, a variety of hand-building skills and colorful glazes. We will draw inspiration for our creations from children’s stories as we combine art, storytelling and play in this unique class offering. Space is the Place (Ages 4-7) “Houston, we have lift off!” Join us for a week of activities designed to engage our youngest students through both visual art and science. We will learn about rockets, the Milky Way, black holes, the solar system, our unique moon and more through painting, sculpture, and mixed media art projects. Modern Masters (Ages 8-12) introduces children to the wonderful world of Van Gogh, Cézanne, Dali, Chagall and Matisse. Using famous works of art to understand the artist’s styles, children reproduce their own artwork. These lessons are classic examples of how mixing art history with simple, foundational techniques can create the most beautiful works of art. ORIGINS Youth Camp 2016 - Sparks, OK
Parents the Youth have chosen Camp #2 which is May 30th - June 3rd. I know it seems far away but we MUST have an idea on a head count so we can go ahead and get our week reserved. It will more than likely be 100% full within a week so we would choose week #3 which is June 6th-June 10th. THE KIDS are choosing Camp #2 because of the speaker we had last year will be at Camp #2. Please chat with your YOUTH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and let me know by this Wedneday if at all possible. I would like to send in the registration fee for each kid this week to reserve our spots. Summer Camp 2015 - Antelope, OR
Horizon Youth is hosting our very first Summer Camp at Washington Family Ranch. This week long camp will be filled with all kinds of activities; basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, rock climbing, disc golf and hiking. If you’ve gone with us before to Winter Camp, you know just how great this camp is. How much more fun will it be to have access to more of what the camp has to offer in the summer months. Like swimming in the pool or zip lining across the lake, and driving go carts, just to name a few. Donnie Moore and his Radical Reality team will be our Guests Speakers all week and Tiffany and the band will be leading us in Worship each day. So grab some friends and register to go to camp, you’ll be challenged in your walk with God, encouraged in your faith and you’ll be able to start the new school year with confidence in who you are in Christ. Drones (ages 8-12) - Camp Hickory Hill
Learn to skillfully fly a remote controlled helicopter drone, then race the clock in our drone obstacle course. Take your drone home to enjoy after camp! There will still be plenty of time for other traditional camp activities including swimming, Catan ball, campfires and Bible Exploration!! Week 6: Global Literarcy...Cultivating International Relationships - ACE Conference Center
We live in a Global Society and must teach our girls to function accordingly. This is a week filled with authentic global experiences. Girls will learn about different cultures, food, language and traditions. They will participate in our Global Pen Pal program and learn what their international peers experience on a daily basis. Girls will be divided into 2 groups: 7-9 & 10-13. Our capacity is 10 girls per group to ensure an enriching and impactful experience. **Inclusive every day are snacks & meals provided by Wolfgang Pucks Team, supplies, morning yoga on a Helicopter Pad (when not in use by an actual helicopter), afternoon meditation, all activities, guest speakers, workshops and more. 1-610-584-4283
