Aqua Sports Camp Jr - Olney Swim Center
This camp has it all-swimming, diving, trampoline, soccer, kickball, crafts and games! Campers should be able to swim 25 yards and must be comfortable in the water that exceeds their height. Campers must come equipped with shorts, T-shirt and tennis shoes or athletic-type shoes. Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch, extra pair of athletic socks, swim suit, towel, cap, goggles and sunscreen. A $15 material fee is due at the beginning of each session, payable to Tober Aqua Sports, Inc. Extended Care is provided by the camp for morning and/or afternoon for participants only. Campers must be 7 by the first day of camp. Jr. Camps are for ages 7-11. Cactus Petes Saloon was the coolest place in town, but now its the home of the biggest brawl in the desert. Tumbleweeds blow, shots are fired, and the Stagecoach gang is riding into town. Strap on your cowboy boots and warm up your vocal chords, cause this week will be full of singing, dancing, and shoot-outs. Perfect for the young singer/dancer whos got a knack for causing trouble AND saving the day. A trip to Cactus Petes is impossible to forget. Camp meets Monday through Friday, final presentation on Friday. Bring your lunch. LOCATION RAMS Auditorium at 15 E. County Road B-2
Theater 3 - Improv Extravaganza - Artists Exchange
Jump in, be big and bold, laugh, and learn the basics of acting through the wild, wonderful world of improvisation! Learn to think quickly on your feet and act from the top of your head in this fun, silly, and engaging camp. Play and perform favorite short form improv games, including those seen on TVs hit show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Students gain confidence in public speaking, expressing themselves using their body and voice, and facing fears of stage fright and performance anxiety. No experience necessary; come one and come all. Class culminates in an original improv show for family and friends; written, created, hosted, and performed by the students.
