Ironwood’s Camp emphasizes ways for young people to serve God today by serving others, to develop camaraderie among each church group, and to challenge young people to take the next step in their spiritual growth, and to have a week of fun. Each day will be filled with fun and hands-on projects. Campers will play games that they have never played before and try activities that allow them to learn new skills and practice old ones—swimming, canoeing, archery, BB guns, wrist rockets, fishing, horseback riding, and crafts to name a few. Children's Museum of Evansville Summer Camp 2016 - Evansville, IN
Spark those curious minds and imaginations this summer at the Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe!) cMoe camps offer quality experiences and are led by certified teachers. In addition to the weekly themed activities, campers have daily exploration time in our museum. All full-day camps are available to children entering 1st-7th grade for the 2016-2017 school year. Full-day camps begin at 9am and end at 4pm with the option of extended care for only $25 per week. For cMoe members, camp is $135.00 per week! Non-members are $150.00 per week. Coding & Gaming (STEM) - Palm Harbor Montessori Academy
Get ready to figure out the why, how and wow of computer programming in this interactive coding camp! The camp explores many aspects of gaming, both on and off the computer. Using MITs Scratch computer language, kids learn how to program their very own unique games and animations. In addition, campers apply problem-solving strategies to create offline, traditional games such as checkers, labyrinth, and the electrified board game "Operation"! All camper projects are theirs for the taking, whether its a computer program uploaded to MITs website or an original board game to be played at home with friends. Trekking for the Health of it - Old Trail School
Join Mrs. Wilson for a 3-5 mile intense hike in the beautiful CVNP. Be ready for strenuous trails by wearing sturdy hiking shoes or boots and carrying a water bottle. Eat a good breakfast for energy and stamina. We will be on the bus promptly at 9am to be able to get back to school in time for lunch. Bring rain gear and be ready for some serious hiking fun. Ages 9 and above unless Mrs. Wilson gives written permission to a younger child who is capable of these hikes. Love art? Love animals? This is the camp for you! Get closer to animals using interactive art projects. Using HSWM animals as inspiration, campers will create several works of art through various mediums. One day will feature a visit from Brush Studios who will lead us through painting a masterpiece. High School All Position Skills Football Camp - Sacred Heart Schools
Championship football is built on FUNdamentals. This non-contact full day camp will offer a practice atmosphere while focusing on fundamentals and overall football safety for athletes preparing to play either flag or contact football. In addition to a team practice setting, daily individual teaching is provided for athletes to focus on their positions of choice.
