This year at New Culture Summer Camp Cascadia, we will be exploring our creative edges, expanding our comfort zone, and integrating the skills, knowledge and intuitions of participants to co-create an experience that is unique, alive, and transformational. Nathan Benderson Park's Youth Aquatics Holiday Camp gives your child the opportunity to learn on the lake! Campers will learn to kayak, row, dragon boat, stand up paddleboard, RC sailboat control, and powerboat safety. 3 sessions are offered to meet the needs of your family: Week 1: December 19 - 22 Week 2: December 27 - 30 Week 3: January 3 - 6 Camp runs from 9AM to noon each day Ages 10 to 18 $120 for a one week session (Before and after care are available for an additional fee) Each day your child will receive morning instruction on land before going on the water. Come join head coach John Kwok and the St. Thomas basketball staff for an intensive 4-day camp to better maximize your summer basketball season. Current and former STH basketball players will complete the staff promoting individual development through a variety of skill instruction sessions and competitive daily scrimmages with an emphasis on offensive / defensive team concepts. This is notaconditioning or recreational camp. This camp is designed to teach the football techniques used at the high school level and to help prepare the players for their upcoming SPAL season. The Savannah Country Day high school football coaches will be the camp instructors along with former Hornet players and some current college football players. Campers will be taught the fundamental skills for their specific position on both sides of the ball as well as compete in group drills to help prepare them for another championship season of SPAL football. We will also sneak in a trip to the Chocolate Factory and Dixon Springs State Park. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
