Ocean Explorers (Week 8 AM) - Wild Surfers - NESS
The ocean is home to many gnarly wave, current, and wind animal surfers. Learn how pelicans use an A-Frame beach break, investigate sea lion and penguin cutbacks, use the methods of an epic cormorant duck dive, explore how jellyfish try to avoid getting caught inside, and how dolphins hang rostrum down the line. Get a taste of stand up paddle boarding and surfing that includes turtle rolls in order to reach far out levels that will set you on track to make your own rooster tail in the future. Cosmos Time Traveler - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Join us as we travel in time across the Milky Way and observe the amazing Universe. With twenty great astronomy projects, this is the camp that your child will be talking about for a long time! Explore Earth-Moon-Sun relationships, stars, planets and galaxies, asteroids and the impact one particular asteroid had on the Earth millions of years ago. Model our solar system, build a sun dial, experiment with screaming balloon rockets, use solar glasses, make and use a star finder, construct a telescope, build and launch an airburst rocket, and design a UV bracelet. 805-570-1988

Star Wars Camp Grades K-8 - Slauson Middle School
Come to a galaxy far, far away and learn the mysterious ways of the force! In one exciting week, campers enroll in our Jedi Academy where they learn to use the Force, and become highly trained in the use of light sabers, including light saber safety! With the help of your fellow Jedi, you compete in Star Wars trivia contests, work together to construct a Star Wars planet, design costumes and compete for "Jedi points" to increase your Star Wars rank. Now you too, can battle with the dark side and restore the Jedi order. Campers are divided by grade into developmentally appropriate groups. Enroll now !
