Imagine a camp where kids are given the freedom, space and materials to build, create and play their way! Projects are offered, yet kids lead with their ideas and take ownership over the project outcomes. In KOOP's one of a kind camp, kids have access to a multitude of 'Loose Parts' to create, build and experiment freely! The kids will learn constantly by doing and pursuing their specific interests! Themed activities like: Marble Roller Coasters, Scene Sewing, Science Experiments, Baking, Fort Building, Nature Exploration and more will be offered. Registration is now open for Winter Camp! Campers will learn the basics of 3D game design, including models, textures, volumes, lighting, and more as they create their game from start to finish. During camp, campers will use real game design principles as they design their game on the X, Y and Z axes to create an immersive 3D world. Theyll also learn to use our proprietary, age-appropriate game design software, OWL Game Creator, as they develop skills that will help them pursue game development at a professional level. The Preseason Faceoff Clinic will focus around the three fundamentals for youth to advanced level players; technique, repetition, and competition. The face-off clinic will teach the players how to hold the stick properly, feet/stance alignment, stick alignment, and primary/counter moves. Specific face-off drills and advanced skill work performed at the college and MLL level will also be incorporated throughout the clinic. The first day will focus mainly on face-off instruction and repetition. The second day will focus mainly on repetition and competition.
