The goal of the Teen Life Skills Camp is to prepare the youth for adulthood by teaching and building upon their life skills. They will spend two days in a warm and nurturing environment learning principles of manhood, woman hood, interpersonal communication skills, problem solving skills, team work, collaboration and culture competence. This event will start off at Deliverance Tabernacle Christian Center and then the learning environment will shift to Oak Grove Park on Naval Air Station Pensacola. During the course of the 3 day, 2 night camp, they will be apart of discussions: (the young men)the role and purpose of a man, leadership, teach them how to tie a neck tie and they will receive a tie. Travel to Northern Africa and the Middle-East, without the motion sickness or expensive flight. Learn about the music, dance and culture of the area of the world where Africa meets the Orient. It's a whole new world of music and dance! If you only have a Western Music Education, you are missing out on over three fourths of the world's music! Students will attend from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, August 4th and 6th. Besides learning dance moves, students will make percussive instruments and learn to play several N. Teen World Ministries will be holding its 22nd Annual Bible Camp the week of June 7-13, 2015 at Promise Camp & Retreat Center in Clinton, PA. We are excited that the long awaited new dining hall at Promise Camp has completed construction and will be ready for our use. Our camp theme for the week is "The Whole Armor of God" with Ephesians 6:11 & 6:13 being our theme verses. Camp Speaker for the week will be Toby Mattern, 2015 Graduate of Malone University in Youth Ministry. We will be memorizing and studying the Book of Ephesians (ESV 2011 Text) chapters 5 & 6 during the week. Teen World Bible Camp is open to all youth entering grades 5-12 in the 2015-2016 school year and 2015 high school graduates.
