UKSA (United Kingdom Soccer Association) is a class designed for children who are ready for more of a challenge. The curriculum is designed to build fundamental skills such as balance, coordination and ball skills. Our fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world opens up your kids minds. Classes focus on foot-eye coordination, balance, dribbling, shooting, passing and the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our classes will also introduce the concepts of teamwork and cooperation. Our main goal is to provide a fun and comfortable environment for your child to learn. To ensure players develop a love for the beautiful game, we make sure it is run in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Practices are geared towards individual skill and coordination development. Its all about color and imagination this session, which will explore artwork by famous Modern and Post Modern masters like Henri Matisse, Paul Gauguin and Pablo Picasso. These artists experimented with depicting the world using fantastic colors, and a bold and expressive style of brushwork. We will experience color in a whole new way while working in fine art materials, found objects, collage, printmaking, and more! The Next Step offers a specialized program of musical theater classes taught by Broadway professionals, for aspiring performers, ages 14-17, who have had some previous on-stage experience. A highly unique program, The Next Step weaves traditional musical theater training into an immersive theatrical environment designed to give participants the opportunity to understand what its really like to be a Broadway Gypsy. Inspired by the landmark musical A Chorus Line, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2015, The Next Step places emerging triple-threats into a setting that surrounds an authentic audition process for a Broadway show. More than any other program, The Next Step captures the essence of Camp Broadways mantra, Develop Your Character. Each element of the 5-day event is designed to hone musical theater abilities, enhance interpersonal skills and cultivate the habit of discipline that dedicated theatrical artist need to have. Chemistry Concoctions - Ages 12-15 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Price includes $25 lab fee. Campers spend the week conducting more than 25 fascinating and fun chemistry experiments. Emphasis is on safety, chemistry history, proper use of chemistry lab equipment, and an introductory understanding of chemical symbols and reactions. This camp is a great way to prepare for high school and even college chemistry. Experiments include: metal flame tests, paper chromatography races, fluorescent polymer slime production, litmus indicator solutions, electricity in a test tube, a boat that runs on soap, and many more! 805-570-1988

June 27-30: Photo Safari (Ages 8-11) - Mountain Kids!
Kids and digital cameras in nature – a recipe for fun and stunning images! Campers will capture their unique perspectives of the natural world on their daily adventures in the mountains. On Thursday, campers will have time to select, edit and crop a photo for a Friday art show and celebration!
