UCALs Full Day Camps are similar to our Summer Camp days: three art classes in mixed-grade groups ( K-3 & 4-8) in a variety of media and genres, outdoor recess ( weather permitting) and indoor free play, with lunch and snack provided. Drop-off starts at 8 am, with the first art class at 9am. Options include a day until 3 pm or 6pm. Important Notice from UCAL: At the end of your registration process through the Active system, you will be offered a 30-day free trial of something called the Active Advantage program. You do NOT need to register with Active Advantage to receive member discounts for UCAL programs ,and we do not recommend signing up for it. Teen Photo Camp: High Schoolers - Alpharetta, GA
Is your teen always snapping away? Stealing your camera? Obsessed with capturing their surroundings? Foster their creative skills at our TEEN PHOTO CAMP this summer in our Crabapple studio! Students will need a digital camera and a *genuine* desire to learn more about photography. We will offer separate sessions for middle & high schoolers in June and July. We’ll have instruction, shooting practice and fun learning activities each day in an artistic, small group environment. Each student will need to bring their digital camera, a snack, water bottle & lunch each day. All other materials will be provided, including class notes & supplies. The camp will cover the following topics : - Photographer’s Tool Kit - Essentials of Exposure (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO) - Camera Settings - Composition - Photography & Social Media - Lighting, Landscapes & People - Careers in Photography At the end of camp, we will have an open house showcasing our student's best work in the studio. Camp fee is $225 and is required to hold your student's place.

Kids Winter Art Camp: Mixed-Media Masks! - Bellingham, WA
In this winter break art class, we'll imagine that we are in a warm tropical place with palm trees, wild birds singing, and sandy beaches. To inspire our imagination, we’ll learn about the French post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin, the location of Tahiti, and a brief history of Tikis. Tiki masks actually have a long, rich history in Polynesian culture. The Tiki masks were originally hand-carved wooden masks that were used to symbolize deities, give protection, and increase luck. We'll create our own colorful and textured papers with paints with a variety of brushes, and different items to make texture, in mixed-media format, then use the painted papers to create our Tiki masks. Jr. Brick Robotics - Our Saviors Lutheran School
Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, soccer players, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories. If ready, campers than move to advanced building and programming projects that include: a Racecar, Ferris wheel, and Carousel. As the week draws to a close, campers can utilize the skills they have learned to build and program their own creations. Camp Jr. Space Astronomer - Club ScientificLab
Camp Jr. Space Astronomer is designed for campers ages 6-8. Activities and experiments explore air and space travel, the Earth-Moon-Sun relationships, stars and galaxies. Special emphasis is placed on learning about the scientist related to an activity through Meet the Scientist and the science behind the activity through The Science Involved. The activities and experiments of each day at camp are arranged by scientific concept. Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well!
