LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Challenger Sports British Soccer Camps - Monadnock Park
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Challenger Sports, providers of North Americas most popular summer soccer camps. The camps will run Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of Challengers British coaching staff flown to the U.S.A exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger will hold over 3,700 British Soccer Camps this summer and will coach over 150,000 players between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 40,000 parents and coaches. Challengers British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regimen of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily "World Cup" tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. Each camp is custom built to meet the needs of your players so Challenger will be directed by the organization on the content of the camp that they too require. It's no secret we're a Tulane family. Both my husband and I graduated from the college and would love our daughter to be a legacy. The Ripples Day Camp was a perfect way to introduce her to the campus and all it has to offer. She became an excellent swimmer and is already talking about training to be a counselor next year. The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 19th. Activities for Senior High could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, community service, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.

(Class might go until 5:00) And every Saturday after that except 11/28 and 12/26 Recital 1/17/16 Class Description --------------- ACT I - INTRODUCTION TO ACTING II: AGES 5-17 Students ages will be exposed to various acting warm ups and exercises connecting movement and sound. They will also learn how to read a script, mark stage directions, memorize lines, audition and conquer stage fright. Students focus on acting and character development through exercises, techniques, and improvisation Actors will develop a strong understanding of character development, acting techniques and monologues, as well as theatre etiquette. This class is all about being an actor. Over the course of 1 week, campers will each build, manipulate and perform with their own puppets. Puppet Palooza is a unique blend of art, acting, mime, and ensemble: a one-of-a-kind experience for every level of experience.
