LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Golf Lessons for Grades 3-5 only - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Junior philosophy defines a Long Term Athletic Development Approach. This development is laid out within our Junior camp offering focus on three areas: Fundamentals, Learn & Train to Play and Learn & Train to Compete. Within the Level 1 curriculum, students will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game and swing, short game analysis, life values and how they relate golf and entry level contests. **This class will be longer due to travel time for the bus. Students will leave here at 3:20pm, Class is from 3:45-4:45, the students will return to campus around 5:00pm. Coach Stone will accompany the students on the bus to and from their Golf Lesson** Transportation will be provided by The Bolles School to and from the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Clubhouse. Taught by Golf Professional at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club 904-256-5071

The Solon Recreation Department offers two day camps that run in conjunction with one another. The Summer Camp is for pre-kindergarten to fourth graders (child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 on their first day of camp). The Adventure Camp is for current fifth & sixth graders (child must be 12 years old or younger on their first day of camp). Camp consists of sports, swimming, activities, field trips and much, much more. The schedules and activities are age appropriately planned. A tentative calendar for 2016 will be available at the Solon Community Center or on-line after February 16. Need more information…Please look on-line at www.solonohio.org. Camper Handbooks, calendars, registration forms and registration information will all be posted on our website in February 2016. Clarinet Camps - Clarinet Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Designed for high school students, Clarinet Camp covers topics from clarinet assembly and reed care to history and repertoire. Students will be placed in small ensembles to play clarinet-only repertoire which will be featured in a final performance at the end of the week for family and friends. During small ensemble rehearsals and classes, well discuss clarinet specific topics including: how the reeds/mouthpieces/ligatures we choose affect our performance, various styles of clarinet playing, the acoustics and history of the instrument and emergency repair.
