CAMPS CLOSED July 4-8 In addition to the fun and exciting time your campers(s) will have during the morning camps at Greensboro Day School, they can also take part in the Afternoon Explorations Program! This program is offered for children in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade and operates from 2:00pm-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Afternoon Explorations Camp is much more than a place to send your child in the afternoon; this camp involves structured weeks that incorporate hands-on activities and weekly outside activities related to that weeks theme. The Afternoon Explorations Camp will be offered the weeks Summer Programs is in session. Please sign your camper(s) up as soon as possible because camp enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis. It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature.
