CAMP SPECIFICS Camps are focused on individual basketball skills, team strategies, and game play. Each camp will have developmentally appropriate work on basketball fundamentals in dribbling, passing, shooting, and attacking the basket. This program provides campers with both on- and off-campus experiences. For each week-long session campers select one morning activity (see choices). After lunch, there are a variety of gym games, group activities, instructional swim, beach visits and tournament days. Each session includes one Undernight adventure—an extended field trip—on Thursday. Adventures revolve around a weekly theme. Undernight Adventure (Wednesday, June 29): All About Entertainment LUNCH: Parker Summers campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks Monday–Thursday. WCU and its camp staff are not re-sponsible for lost or missing items. All personal equipment should be marked with the campers name. Students experience the excitement of a motor - how this device can transform a stationary object into a moving one. Projects include the Millennium Falcon, Reys Landspeeder, R2D2, X-Wing fighter, and Snow-Speeder. Students construct the motorized projects, then customize the design, and play with and share ideas with other campers. Builders are sure to have the force with them in this camp!Students take home a LEGO® mini-build and camp T-shirt. Students do not take home the LEGO® projects or pieces from the class This is an afternoon half day camp for 5-7 year olds.
