LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Summer Remediation 2016 - Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School
Students who earned D or F grades in either semester of the 2015-2016 school year may be required to remediate those grades in order to move to the next course in the sequence, receive graduation units, and/or remain eligible for college admissions. SJND offers summer remediation on campus through online course providers in a supervised learning environment. Students have the option to work with academic content tutors and receive personalized attention and course management from the Summer Academics Coordinator and staff. For those who need to take a second remediation course, we strongly recommend finishing one before starting the second. Local churches are coming together once again to put together a POWER PACKED Camp. There will be FUN, FRIENDS, GAMES, DYNAMIC TALKS, AWESOME WORSHIP, etc... Early bird pricing is $225 and that is ONLY with a non-refundable $125 deposit in by APRIL 1st. After April all deposits are $100 to reserve your spot with total cost $275. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2010 and received her Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Practical Theology at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She now serves as the Mission Immersion Director for Raleigh Youth Mission, and through her ministry with youth she works to name creative gifts and profound truths in their lives, most often through music, art, prayer and laughter. What is a Presbytery Youth Retreat? -A time for middle school youth (grades 6-8) from across our Presbytery to gather for the experience of Christian fellowship. -An opportunity to play, study, worship, sing and serve in a beautiful setting with their peers. -An opportunity for youth to see the Church of Jesus Christ beyond the local congregation and take that experience home. -A chance for the First Presbyterian youth group to grow closer through a shared experience. Instructor: Horsch. This camp is a great way to have your energetic boy or girl learn to cheer for the home team. They will be introduced to basic cheer moves and stunts. The athletes will also learn basic tumbling, focusing on correct stretching and flexibility techniques. Each camp week will include daily crafts and a parent performance at the end of the week. Each girl athlete will receive a competition style cheer bow, and boy will receive a megaphone to keep 316-771-2289
