This is a wonderful camp to send your child to if they love to ride horses. The counselors are great and seemed to instantly love the kids. My child stayed mostly in the equestrian part and learned a lot from the instructors. They seemed to love their jobs working with horses and kids. The Cobra's youth football camp is a non-contact football camp that cultivates talented young people in an effort to unite a community that has deeply supported athletics and leadership building. Participants of the Cobra's Camp will receive personal coaching from TN Cobra players and other former college players, and trained coaches. All youth (boys & girls) between the ages of 5-13 are encouraged to participate. We only have 100 spots; this event is being held at an indoor athletic facility and will not cancel due to weather. Discovery Day Camp: Session 2 - Rockhaven Camp and Retreat Center (FPC)
Day camp sessions run Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with transportation provided to and from First Presbyterian Church. Check in at First Presbyterian Church begins at 8:30 am. High School Team Camp - Yum Center
High school team camp is designed to prepare teams before entering the high school season. Each team will compete in skill training & scrimmages throughout the camp. Camp is open to every high school team and player. Registration will begin at 10:00am on July 10th at Threkheld Hall. The first session will begin at 1:00p on July 11th. The last day (July 13th) of camp will end at 12:00p. HIGH SCHOOL FEE-$250 U of L provides a head coach to train your team for the duration of camp. This fee allows one high school coach to accompany the team with meals & lodging included. The school fee is non-refundable & due by May 15th to secure a spot for your team. In this rigorous, half-day camp, youll learn the form and style of the test--which was completely redesigned as of March 2016-- as well as the essential content and strategies for approaching each question type on the math section of the SAT. During the week, youll learn strategies for approaching math questions that not only will help you move through the test more efficiently but will also help improve your accuracy. We will also review the essential skills and concepts you need to know from pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, and geometry. Youll leave this camp with the confidence and skills to make your best score yet on SAT math! Prerequisite: Common Core Math I and II or equivalent. (An SAT book will be provided. STRIDE - Germantown Academy
STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches.
